New Honda Jazz CVT automatic transmission design
New Honda Jazz which includes other developments, a CVT automatic transmission designed to reduce fuel consumption and emissions of polluting gases. To achieve this, Honda has installed the continuously variable transmission with a torque converter. The exterior design is inspired by the Jazz Hybrid and a few other elements within this “modernization.” The interior plastics are now darker, contrasting with chrome details.
The entire interior is characterized by the usual flexibility in terms of seating configurations, while the load capacity varies from 300 to 1,320 liters, the latter, if the rear seats folded. Also made minor adjustments to the suspension and steering, which contributes to a more pleasant driving because it increases the absorption capacity of the uneven surface. The new Jazz also be equipped with the Insight’s IMA system.
This system combines a gasoline engine 1.3 i-VTEC 88 hp and 121 Nm with a power module that delivers 14 hp and 79 Nm to the propulsion system. With this configuration, the new Jaz can reach 177 km / h speed limit and allows complete 0-100 in 12.6 seconds. But the heart, consumption has been set at 4.5 l/100 km (combined) and emitting 104 g / km of CO2.
