Citroen is well known by all the Spanish drivers, among other things, to implement a discount policy and cross-intensive in most of its range. So now the French manufacturer’s Picasso family, consisting of three models, C3 Picasso, C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso has just been encouraged by a new discount called “family bonus.”

The manufacturer wants and make it easier for families with a promotion that reduces the price of 4,000 euros from any of the models of the Picasso and will be valid throughout the month of March. They have a style, which has received the nickname “visiospace” for its combination of light and space, through a wide glass area and an easy modularity. The breadth of the interior provides room for everything you have when traveling with children. Exclusive Plus versions available as an option, a DVD player and two screens oriented in the front seat backrests and two wireless headphones and remote control.

All three models feature a wide range of engines, petrol and diesel, high performance, which allow moderate consumption and a good environmental balance. Stresses in the C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso, the micro-hybrid e-HDi technology, in the HDi 110, allows a comfortable ride, while also reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, about 15% in urban tour.

Citroen is expanding the range of the new generation of compact, the C4 has vastly improved in every way. However, it depressed the Spanish market and, perhaps, no longer has the characteristic aspect of the previous version. In any case, personally I repeat that it is now much more car than its predecessor and, although the most pull this kind of models are diesel engines, so far from a mechanical low fuel consumption.

The two new petrol engines that are now incorporated in the range have been developed with the BMW Group. This is a the VTi 95 and VTi 120 with automatic 4 relations. With a displacement of 1,397 cm3, the VTi Engine 95 is equipped with a 5-speed transmission with staggered adapted and develops an output of 70 kW EEC (95 bhp EEC). Reaches maximum torque of 135 Nm at 4,000 rpm.

The mechanics VTi 120 already present in the Citroen C4 range since its launch, now incorporated as a new automatic transmission 4-speed. With a displacement of 1,598 cm3, develops a power of 88 kW (120 hp) at 6,000 rpm. Maximum torque is 160 Nm at 4,250 rpm. 90% or more of its maximum value is available between 2,500 and 5,750 rpm. Equipped with 4-speed automatic transmission consumes 6.9 liters per 100 km in the combined cycle and emits 159 g / km of CO2.

The Citroen C4 VTi 95 Business can be purchased from 14,250 euros, while the VTi 120 Sport Automatic will cost 18,050 euros. As far as equipment is concerned, by the Business Pack (Light Cornering front fog lights, Radio Connecting Box CD MP3 Bluetooth USB + audio + t, body-colored door handles) have to pay 416 euros and 676 euros for the sunroof. So far, it seems quite reasonable.
